I only had to change this setting on my Android device so that the apps would update to the latest version without doing anything

As long as the mobile phone allows it (either due to age or because the manufacturer no longer offers support), this is a It’s a good idea to have the phone with the latest version operating system, security patches and applications, because this way we will have news as well as solutions to bugs and vulnerabilities.
In this sense, one of the best mobile maintenance practices is to keep your software up to date. But doing this manually is troublesome because it requires us to be aware of the versions to execute them on the mobile phone. Luckily I forgot to check if my mobile phone is up to date because I already know: I enabled some settings so that everything is always up to date, doing almost nothing.
Apps on my phone are updating themselves
Continue this adjustment There are lowercase letters in updating applications: Works only for those downloaded from the official route, i.e. Google Play Store. For the rest (there are quite a few in my case), we will have to opt for the manual route.
But since I went to the Google Play Store and tapped on my profile photo, I forgot to update the apps completely.Settings‘ > ‘Network preferences‘ > ‘Update apps automatically‘I have automatic updates set up with a limited amount of mobile data.
This option prioritizes Wi-Fi usage, but pulls in mobile data if there’s an important update and Wi-Fi isn’t available. But if you usually stay at home and have internet there, ‘Update via Wi-Fi only‘.
What about system updates? Here it requires minimal effort on my part as long as it is necessary to navigate to’Settings‘ > ‘System ‘ > ‘Software updates‘ (the path will depend on the manufacturer) to check if you are up to date with the latest updates available. If this is not the case, a message will appear that needs to be updated.
Google services update
As for Google system updates, these are normally downloaded and installed automatically in the background, but you can check whether the toggle is enabled in the ‘ section.Settings’ > ‘Google’ and in the ‘tabAll services’ > ‘System services updates‘. These downloads and installations occur at dawn to avoid interruptions while using your mobile phone.
