“Isak was an example for all of us. “He dedicated his life to the Mango project, leaving an indelible mark through his strategic vision, his inspiring leadership and his unwavering commitment to the values ​​that he himself brought to our company,” he added.

According to Ruiz, his legacy reflects the achievements of a business project marked by success, as well as his human qualities, his closeness, and the care and affection he always provided to the entire organization.

“His passing leaves a huge void, but we are all in some way his legacy and a testament to his achievements. It is up to us and this is the best tribute we can pay to Isak and which we are going to fulfill so that Mango continues to be the project that Isak aspired to and of which he can be proud,” he concluded. .

Andic ranked fifth in the latest list of the 100 richest Spaniards, published in early November by Forbes Spain, with an estimated total wealth of about 4.5 billion euros, up 1.8 billion on the previous year.

Andic owned 95% of Mango, with the remaining 5% owned by Ruiz, a company that recorded record sales in 2023 of €3.1 billion, a figure the company wants to exceed €4 billion by 2026.

The brand, which opened its first store in 1984 in Barcelona, ​​currently has 2,700 stores in 120 countries and is focusing its expansion in Europe, India, the USA and Canada. The company aims to open an average of one store per day next year.
