According to Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said in a telegram.
“War will not interfere with the publicity campaign. Including our people under temporary occupation,” he wrote.
This issue was brought up at a meeting led by the Ministry of Education and Science, lawmakers, government officials and the public sector.
According to Vereshchuk, in addition to integrating educational documents into the Action, they agreed to maximize the simplification of the admission of applicants from the war-affected regions and pay teachers who refused to cooperate with the Russian invaders and continue to teach in Ukrainian educational institutions.
“Education is also a battleground that we must win,” said the head of the Ministry of Reintegration.
As Ukrinform reported, there are 1,174 schools in the temporarily occupied territories, according to Serhiy Shkarlet, the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine.
