WeTransfer, the popular file sending platform, limits free users to a maximum of ten transfers per month. The company, which was recently acquired by the Italian company Bending Spoon, announces this on its support page along with a few other new features for the free subscription. For example, the file transfer limit is increased from 2GB to GB, users get unlimited portals, reviews and file requests, and there is password protection for every transfer.

For example, the file transfer limit is scaled from 2GB to 3GB, users can run an unlimited number of portals, reviews and file requests, and password protection is enabled for each transfer. This summer, the company also increased the download link limit to 30 days for paid users and seven days for free users.
WeTransfer is also adding a new subscription formula: “WeTransfer Starter”. This plan offers the same benefits as the free plan but with an increased limit of 300GB and costs $6.99 per month.
Finally, WeTransfer combines its Pro and Premium subscriptions into one subscription called Ultimate. This subscription is $25 per month.
