Microsoft continues to expand the Edge browser’s list of features. Support for new features emerged in the first test build of Edge Canary 105. The first innovation was a built-in calculator. This will prevent you from running what’s built into the OS. Another innovation is a utility for testing the speed of the Internet connection. The third will be the value converter. The new features are expected to appear in August this year, all icons will be added to the browser’s sidebar.
It is also reported that Edge Canary and Dev have a long-existing feature in Chrome. It gives you access to various browser functions with quick commands. For example, you can launch the search bar and type “clear history” to clear history without going into browser settings.
This feature may be included in the experimental features list, but does not yet cover all menu items. In the future, their list will expand. Additionally, Edge tests closing tabs by double-clicking them. These features are also likely to appear no earlier than August.
Previously, the browser was testing password import from Google Chrome at every startup. Source
