Selfie cameras are often overlooked by high-end smartphone manufacturers, but that could change this year. After rumors surfaced that Apple I will invest more in the front camera of the series iphone 14now the leak claims that Samsung also will bring improvements to the Galaxy S23 series sensors.

As was highlighted PhoneArena, the South Korean giant’s top-notch series hasn’t received a front-facing camera upgrade for years. The portal indicates that the initial models of the series Galaxy S20, S21 as well as S22 received the same camera that was released by the manufacturer in 2019, which was equipped in Galaxy S10.

But now GalaxyClub received information about a possible change in the series Galaxy S23. According to the information received by the site, it claims that the models Galaxy S23 as well as S23+ will receive the sensor 12 megapixel selfiewhich is a huge improvement over the 2MP sensor that has been used in recent years.

In addition to these models, the version Galaxy S23 Ultra there should also be an improvement in the front camera. Nonetheless S22 Ultra has already been launched with a 40MP sensor, so the upgrade for the more expensive version of the series may not come with more megapixels.
