The car has a 3-liter twin-turbo engine with 503 horsepower and 479 Nm of torque.
The hatchback has a standard 8-speed automatic transmission.
The new BMW M3 Touring is slightly heavier than the M4 coupe and M3 sedan models, though the company didn’t specify how much.
The automaker claims that the hatchback can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds and the top speed in the standard car model will not exceed 250 km/h. However, customers will be able to choose the option that will increase the maximum speed to 280 km / h.
The starting price is not yet known. Sales of the BMW M3 Touring will start this year in the UK, Europe, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand and Australia, but not in the US.
