Asus will soon introduce its new gaming smartphone ROG Phone 6. The device could be the first to be based on Qualcomm’s top chip, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
Using this processor also makes the device potentially the most powerful, at least in the Asus lineup. To help with this, the device will have up to 16GB of RAM.
This became known due to the sudden appearance of a smartphone in the Geekbench benchmark. The manufacturer had previously stated that the device will receive a 6.78-inch display with a 165 Hz refresh rate. For comparison, the two previous models only had 144 Hz.
On the other hand, it is also worth noting the 6000 mAh battery with fast charging at 65 watts. The announcement of the Asus ROG Phone 6 is expected to be made as part of the event that will be held simultaneously in Taipei, Berlin and New York on July 5.
