Now the young man 142.9 million followers, surpassing the number of American influencers Charlie D’Amelie, who currently has 142.3 million followers.

According to The Verge, Habi’s success on TikTok is very significant, as not so long ago, previous questions raised by users on the platform about how black content creators are treated have affected profile growth and engagement. In 2020, black creators made a number of allegations that the network’s algorithm was suppressing published content.

In response to this issue, the company committed to taking the necessary steps and created a diversity council, including donating money to nonprofits that focus on helping the black community.
