The Android 13 operating system is currently in beta testing, and a stable release will appear in the second half of 2022. However, a Google Pixel 4 phone has received an update to the new Android 13. Of course this happened accidentally.
On June 23, a Google Pixel 4 user reported that his phone has been updated to Android 13, TP1A.220603.002.A1.
According to the user, he did not participate in the beta testing of the new operating system. When the smartphone sent the update message, the owner didn’t even realize it was Android 13. He downloaded and installed the update without even realizing it.
After that, Google Pay stopped working on the smartphone. Even factory reset didn’t help.
Journalists suggested that this collection was designed by Googlers for internal testing of Android 13.
