Opera Software has announced Opera VPN Pro, a new paid service for desktop computers. It is only available in a test version and can protect all traffic.

Starting June 24, Opera Browser Beta (build number 89.0.4447.20) offers a fully integrated VPN solution that protects all computer traffic on Windows 8 or higher or MacOS. A 7-day free trial is available.

Opera VPN Pro subscription allows you to protect up to 6 devices including PCs, Macs, tablets and Android smartphones. To do this, you need to install Opera browsers on your device and synchronize them with the Opera account to which the subscription is linked.

To subscribe you must do the following:

• Download Opera Beta from the official site.
• Sign in to your Opera account or create a new one.
• Enable sync. To do this, go to Menu > Sync… > Enable Sync.
• Then you need to go to the Opera VPN Pro page, choose the tariff and subscribe. Payment details will be requested, but cancellations will only begin after the trial period.

The user will then be redirected to the VPN Pro client download page. It must be installed on a PC, then an icon will appear in the taskbar that will let you know the current status of the VPN connection and allow you to quickly turn the VPN on or off.
