The smart watch market is certainly rich in different models for every taste and color, but Fossil continues to produce new devices for those who prefer the classic look of this accessory. And today, June 25, the company’s developers have officially introduced the 6th Generation Hybrid smartwatch, which has a significant set of different smart features in the body of a classic wristwatch. This model is offered in two versions – Machine and Stella, so that a potential buyer will be able to choose the design of the case to your liking.

In the Machine version, it has a case diameter of 45 mm and a textured bezel around the dial in black, gray or silver. The Stella version is a more compact version of the 40.5mm diameter case – it uses more feminine colors including rose gold, silver and a two-tone design. At the same time, both models have interchangeable straps with a width of 24 and 18 mm, respectively, made of different materials – there are both simple silicone straps, and more classic metal versions, and even genuine leather straps.

It is worth noting that the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid does not have the usual color display dial – instead, the gadget is equipped with physical hands that show the time. Thanks to this, the manufacturer managed to significantly increase the battery life of the device, which, according to the company, is two weeks. In addition, the device has customizable dials, the function to monitor sleep quality and number of steps taken, the ability to receive messages, as well as the ability to monitor heart rate, oxygen saturation and even count calories during exercise.

The device also has a more advanced assistant application powered by Android and iOS operating systems – the developers redesigned the interface, improved the customization settings and highlighted the panel with fitness data in a separate menu. And the company’s new smartwatch can work with Amazon Alexa’s voice assistant – for this purpose, the device is even equipped with a microphone for speech recognition.

Official sale of the Fossil Gen 6 Hybrid will begin on June 27 – $229 for the base version, and $249 for a model with a metal strap.
