Aspen Creek Digital Corporation (ACDC) has announced the launch of its first bitcoin business. It is a high-performance computing center with a capacity of 6 MW, equipped with a solar farm with a capacity of 10 MW.
Galaxy Digital became the company’s first hosting client.
“Recent market volatility has demonstrated the importance of our core strategy: capacity control, which is a major contributor to bitcoin mining,” said ACDC CEO Alexandra DaCosta.
ACDC uses Generation S19 miners to mine a data center in Colorado. Next to the enterprise, there is a research and execution center with a total area of 75,000 square meters.
The second ACDC facility will be a 30 MW data center capable of accommodating 10,000 ASIC miners. This data center will be connected to an 87 MW solar power plant that will be commissioned this summer. The third project ACDC is working on is a 150 MW data center that will work with a 200 MW solar farm. Source
