Earlier this week, Microsoft released another stable version of the Edge browser, 103.0.1264.37, which implemented several new features as well as a number of general fixes aimed at improving the stability of the program. In addition, the developers have integrated the browser to control automatic changing of profiles, enhanced protection against web threats, and added a tool to replace client certificates.

First of all, it is worth noting the possibility of controlling the automatic switching of profiles using the GuidedSwitchEnable policy. After activation, the policy prompts the user to navigate to the appropriate profile in cases where Edge identifies the switch to personal or work connection.

Switching between client certificates allows users to clear the certificate stored in memory and reopen the certificate selection window when navigating to the site you want to authenticate with the http certificate. It is noteworthy that such a transition can be done without having to exit Edge.

Edge 103 implements stronger webspace protection based on a redesigned Microsoft Defender SmartScreen library. Using the NewSmartScreenLibraryEnable policy allows enterprise users to implement a previous version of the library until it is completely removed with the release of Edge 105.

Even in the new version of the browser there is a heading in the address bar to search for study topics. It helps to focus on tasks without being distracted. The banner will make it easier for users to search for business-related information in the organization, for which it is enough to activate the corresponding icon at the beginning of the address bar.
