The NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope captured a photo of the globular star cluster NGC 6569 in the constellation Sagittarius.

According to Ukrinform, the observatory reports.

The photo was taken with ACS (Advanced Camera for Surveys) and WFC3 (Wide Field Camera 3) cameras.

Globular clusters contain tens of thousands to millions of stars and are associated with all types of galaxies. The intense gravitational interaction of these closely spaced star clusters means that globular clusters have a normal spherical shape with a “densely populated” center.

This observation is based on the study of globular clusters near the center of the Milky Way.

In previous studies, it is stated that astronomers ignored these cosmic objects because the dust emitted at the center of the galaxy blocks the light from these globular clusters and changes the color of the stars inside them. The second factor is particularly important to astronomers studying the evolution of stars, because the colors of stars can give astronomers an idea of their age, composition, and temperature.

The discoverer of NGC 6569 is German-British astronomer Friedrich Wilhelm Herschel, who first observed the object on July 13, 1784.

As Ukrinform reports, the NASA/ESA Hubble space telescope photographed a large-scale galaxy cluster Abell 1351, located in the constellation Ursa Major in the Northern Hemisphere.
