The host of the YouTube channel TechTablets compared the two best devices from Xiaomi and Realme in terms of key parameters. These are Xiaomi 12 Pro and Realme GT2 Pro. The characteristics of these devices are as similar as possible.
First, the expert compared the configuration of smartphones. In Xiaomi, the case is transparent and thicker, and in Realme – black and thinner. Also, the GT2 Pro has 65 watts (up to a 100% charge in 29 minutes), while the 12 Pro – 120 watts (gets a full charge in 26 minutes). Another important difference is the battery capacity: Xiaomi has 4600 mA year, on Realme – 5000 mA year
According to the expert, Xiaomi is somewhat more convenient to hold in your hands due to the characteristics of the materials from which the frame is made.
As for the sound, the Realme is louder. At the same time, Xiaomi sounds a little “richer” (with a lot of bass). However, GT2 Pro is powered by Harman Kardon.
Next – about screens. In both cases, you get a 120Hz refresh rate. But in Realme the screen is completely flat, but in Xiaomi it is slightly curved. The bezels are also thinner on the first model. Also Realme GT2 Pro has no PWM (flicker).
Realme GT2 Pro runs more stable and faster. And Xiaomi 12 Pro sometimes reboots from time to time.
As for the charging speed, it’s around 30 minutes for Realme and 25-27 minutes for Xiaomi. Internal storage runs fast on both smartphones. On Antutu, both Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 models had similar results: around 994,000 points on the 12 Pro and around 953,000 points on the GT2 Pro. In terms of autonomy at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, the difference between the devices is large: in this case, Xiaomi will run 9 hours 34 minutes, and Realme – 12 hours 38 minutes.
In terms of performance in games, the phones are the same.
