Samsung has a number of secure smartphones, but all current models are designed to work on 4G networks. Now the Korean manufacturer has a new smartphone with 5G support – Galaxy XCover6 Pro with features of 2022 devices. It has a modern processor, a large screen with a high refresh rate, a 50 megapixel camera and the latest version of Android.

Galaxy XCover6 Pro, a smartphone protected according to IP68 and MIL-810H standards, has a rather large size (168.8 × 79.9 × 9.9 mm) and weight (235 grams). It has a 6.6-inch PLS display with FHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate. The screen of the smartphone is very sensitive to touch, it can be used with wet hands and even gloves.

Galaxy XCover6 Pro is built on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G platform. The device has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory. The latter is expandable with microSD cards. The 4050 mAh battery is responsible for battery life with 15 W charging, which can be easily replaced thanks to the removable plastic panel. The software is Android 12 with the company’s One UI 4.1 interface, Samsung DeX support and speaker volume boost.

The smartphone has dual main cameras with 50 MP and 8 MP sensors. A 13MP front camera is housed in a teardrop-shaped cutout on the front. Other features include the presence of a Push-to-talk (PTT) softkey that lets you use your smartphone wirelessly. It also has NFC and a 3.5mm connector.

Samsung did not reveal the cost of its new product, as the announcement was made on the company’s German website, but some sources call the price 600 euros. The Galaxy XCover6 Pro is expected to be officially introduced on July 13 along with the Galaxy Tab Active4 Pro.
