Windows 11 23H2 Dev build 25151 fixes security issues

Microsoft has released a new Windows 11 Insider 25151 build for its developer channel. This is a development of Sun Valley 3 (Windows 11 23H2) for Windows insiders and will eventually become a release in 2023.

The new build adds many new changes and improvements in addition to bug fixes. Here is the full list of changes for build 25145:

• Fixed a scaling issue that could lead to unexpectedly large tabs.
• The context menu now closes more safely by right-clicking on a tab and then clicking elsewhere in File Explorer.

• We believe the key fix in build 25145 resolves a recent issue where shutting down from the Start menu did not work for some insiders (instead it rebooted unexpectedly), thus removing it from the list of known issues. If you continue to experience this issue with the latest updates, please report it to the Feedback Hub.
• Fixed Windows Security crash.
• Updated the Windows Security Exceptions page so file paths now make better use of available space instead of decreasing when free space is available.
• Fixed a major issue that caused a crash when trying to remove ports on printui/s.
• Fixed an issue that caused printing from UWP apps to not work for some insiders during the last 2 flights.

NOTE. Some of the fixes listed here in Insider Preview builds from Dev Channel may be included in service updates for the released version of Windows 11.

• We are working to fix reports of mica material and acrylic blur effect not displaying correctly on OS surfaces such as the Start menu, Notification Center, and other areas.
• Some games that use Easy Anti-Cheat may fail or cause error checking on your computer.
• Beginning with build 25145, we are investigating reports that some insiders have encountered errors, with the error message KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED in NetAdapterCx.sys.

• Up arrow is not aligned in File Explorer tabs. This will be fixed in the next update.
• We’re investigating the message that running File Explorer in dark (like from the command line) unexpectedly displays the File Explorer body in light mode.

• We are working to fix an issue where widget settings (temperature units and fixed widgets) were suddenly reset to standard.

• Some apps (like video players) in full screen mode prohibit displaying live captions.
• Certain apps at the top of the screen that were closed before starting live captions will restart outside of the top direct caption window. To move the program window lower, use the system menu (ALT + space) while the program is in focus.
