NVIDIA has stopped expanding its cloud gaming software licenses to Russian companies. This can affect not only the services that allow you to run demanding games on any device, but also the operation of supercomputers of Sberbank, Yandex and MTS.

The founder of the Loudplay service, which offers cloud gaming services based on NVIDIA technologies, told reporters about this. In particular, NVIDIA deprived Russian companies of software for the distribution of cores on the NVIDIA Grid system, a server video card. Interestingly, the Russian partners were also removed from the website of the American company.

This system allowed more users to connect to the cloud service. Therefore, NVIDIA’s decision will affect the increase in the cost of such services. Previously, they could provide two NVIDIA Grid cards from one server to eight simultaneous players, now only two.

Refusal to extend the license can also complicate the work of Yandex, Sberbank and MTS supercomputers using A100 and DGX-2 graphics processors.
