New update policy
in 2020, Samsung has implemented a differentiated update policy. In a period when it was customary to offer support for their old smartphones without complying with the standard, the South Koreans began to promise, starting with the line Galaxy Note S20, up to five years of additional security updates. Competing companies promised only an upgrade to mid-range models, and in some cases even that was not.
