huawei announced laptops MateBook 16s and D16 for Europe. The first, as is usual for a brand of Chinese origin, tries to compete with Apple’s MacBook Pro 16, the second has a slightly lower profile, but this does not mean that it has a bad performance, quite the contrary.

The Huawei MateBook 16s is now available in Europe at a reference price €1,699. The company has decided that this model will return to Intel processors instead of continuing with AMD Ryzen because it contains on this front Intel Core i7-12700H belonging to the Alder Lake generation and which has six high-performance cores and eight focused on efficiency. Huawei has confirmed that a variant with an Intel Core i9-12900H processor and the same distribution of cores will be available by mid-July, but we’ll see which markets it ends up in.
