Continuing its regular updates, in addition to the real privacy news, this time WhatsApp brings us an extension of one of its users’ favorite features: message deletion. And it is that until now we have had the ability to delete any message to hide it from our own chat, without restrictions; Y option to delete messages for everyonein this case limited to a maximum of 1 hour, 8 minutes and 16 seconds from submission.
However, because branding is human and we often look at our own messages after a long time, it is not difficult for us to regret some of the content we share. That’s why the Meta application was decided update and extend time availability for this event.
It is currently only available to beta participants of version 2.22.15.8 available in the Android test app, as shared by WABetaInfo, the new time we will have to delete messages for everyone will increase massively, lasting up to two days and 12 hours.

As for when we can expect to see this feature as always in WhatsApp testing it may not mean immediate deployment in the next general application updatewhile this is no doubt an update to an already existing feature, it’s very possible that the wait will be noticeably shorter than with new implementations.
That said, it is worth noting that WhatsApp is currently working on a large number of updates, among which are some improvements for group audio calls, the ability to see status updates in the chat list, or the ability to use one WhatsApp account on multiple devices.
On the other hand, also related to the function of deleting messages, the company is also testing new option to delete all messages in groups for their admins. Although it looks like this feature will still take a bit longer to be available in the final app.
