After the official launch of the Oppo Find N 5G at the end of last year, it seems that the Chinese company is once again preparing to update its foldable phone line around the same time. pointing to this year’s introduction of two new devices.

This was shared by the well-known Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station via Weibo, who assures that Oppo will not only bring a successor to the current smartphone, but also will also introduce a new foldable phone with clamshell design, similar to the Galaxy Z Flip 3, currently in development under the codename “Dragonfly”. While the general details of the phone remain unknown, this leak ensures that we will see the new hinge structure as well as the screen. with a screen refresh rate of 120 Hz.

While changes to its hinge are expected to be minimal, as patented Flexion system which arrived with the original model, surprised by resolving some of the biggest weak points in folding devices, widening the bending angle of the screen and offering cushioning when the screen is closed, resulting in minimal creasing up to 80% less noticeable compared to other devices. Something that makes us think Oppo could be trying to prioritize reducing the overall thickness of the device.

As for the first model, we will once again see the design of the folding book format, which decided on the name Oppo Find N2 and some simple improvements such as screen upgrade to 120Hz refresh rateand with a slightly more compact design compared to the original model.

Since its predecessor already had a Snapdragon 888 processor inside, it wouldn’t be surprising if the new model repeats itself with the company’s latest chipsets. opt for Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1it is already being planned for other foldable phones.

However, it remains to be seen whether Oppo will introduce any other differentiating element in its terminals, as it seems that BBK Electronics, the company’s parent company, will use these technological advances to develop OnePlus’ first foldable phone. The terminal, which, although there is no time frame for its launch at the moment, will be very similar to the Oppo Find N from last year.
