WhatsApp is updating on both iOS and Android to allow pixelation of photos. Apparently, it’s an update via the server that is slowly being activated for users. Xataka Móvil and our colleagues from Android were able to enable this functionality, but in our case it is not yet available with a Google Pixel 6 and an iPhone 13 Pro.
Again, feature is already expanding and if you don’t already have it, it’s only a matter of hours before you can use it. We will tell you how to pixelate images in WhatsApp, a process that can be done without installing any external application.

The main difference is that On iOS the tool is inside the brush colorsand appears as a separate option on Android. In both cases the function is exactly the same and the change we made when sending the photo will be saved.
