Game studio Ubisoft has presented a separate mobile game based on the AAA series The Division. The innovation was called Tom Clancy’s The Division Resurgence.

This is a free-to-play third-person shooter set in modern-day New York. The project will receive a huge open world, where the player will protect and restore the city in the role of a special forces warrior.

Players will be able to go through a full story campaign in both solo and co-op mode.

As with older games in the series, the game will feature extensive character customization. We haven’t forgotten about weapons: they can be crafted and upgraded.

The open world will be full of various activities as well as story missions. Presumably these would be to clear areas like The Division 2 for example. The level system and specializations that unlock access to unique gadgets and abilities are also taken from older versions.

Ubisoft did not specify when The Division: Resurgence will be released. But you can already apply to participate in the closed alpha test. Although there are not many details about the game yet, the studio has released the first trailer for The Division Resurgence.
