Modern German self-guided shells began to destroy the tanks of the “Center” group of the Russian-fascist invaders in Ukraine. The armed forces gained a significant advantage thanks to NATO’s high-precision smart weapons that Russia could not develop. Journalist Yuriy Butusov announced this on his Facebook page.

On July 1, the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a video showing the world’s first successful combat use of SMArt self-propelled shells, produced by the German company GIWS mbh in Donbas, according to sources. The video shows the explosion and damage of a projectile on a combat vehicle.

The 155 mm SMArt shell is fired at the coordinates of the enemy’s armored vehicles, after which it does everything on its own.

At a certain height above the target, the projectile explodes and fires two combat munitions in parachutes with their own micro-radar and infrared sensors to locate armored vehicles. After identifying the target, a shock hypersonic element is fired, hitting the combat vehicle from above.

The principle of operation of the SMArt 155 155-mm artillery shell.

1 – A throw similar to a normal throw is made.
2 – The bullet flies through the air.
3 – The mechanism separates the combat elements from each other. In a certain part of the trajectory (timer, etc.), a special mechanism (explosive charge) separates the combat elements from the captain.
4 – Cluster warheads leaving the container fall to the ground.
5 – For stabilization and deceleration in flight, cluster warheads can be used with parachutes, ribbons, petals, etc.
6 – Detonation of a cluster warhead. Anti-tank cluster combat elements can use special mechanisms to find targets and can be activated at a certain distance from them. High explosives — detonate on contact with the surface, incendiary — ignite and burn after falling.

The speed is such that even if Russia begins to install the Arena-M active defense system on tanks, its characteristics do not allow them to block the attack. According to sources, during the bombardment on 1 July, two pieces of Russian Armed Forces ammunition were destroyed by two artillery shells. One of them, probably destroyed in the explosion, was a ZRPK “Pantsir” or a tank.

On July 2, a column of the Russian Armed Forces was covered with German SMArt shells of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation – up to 8 pieces of combat equipment of the Russian fascist troops were damaged or destroyed. These are far from the only modern samples of bullets received by the Armed Forces. The Armed Forces of Ukraine is gradually saturated with ultra-modern Western weapons, which are beginning to give the Ukrainian soldiers an advantage and allow them to conduct a contactless war with the enemy.

There is no doubt that we will have a great technological advantage over the invaders after the deployment of large-scale production as part of NATO’s support programs for Ukraine. We take the best in the world for our victory. For such weapons, the training and tactics of the ground forces should be changed, people and above all the infantry at the front should be used much more carefully. Source
