A new feature has appeared in the Microsoft Edge Canary browser that will allow you to edit images before saving them. For this, a set of basic operations for working with images is declared.
This will simplify working with images even before they are actually saved to disk. Externally, the image editor interface is similar to the Photos program with similar features. For example, you can change the size of the picture, rotate it, crop it, cancel the last action, etc., as well as add filters and tags.
To access it, you need to right-click on the image and select “Edit image”. However, this feature is currently only available to some Microsoft Edge Canary users.
It is not yet known when the novelty will appear in the release version of the browser. However, the addition of such capabilities increases the usability of Microsoft Edge. Note that the function for checking the Internet speed appeared in the browser before – so far only in the Canary collection. Source
