As reported by Ukrinform, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on Telegram.

“Starlink quickly restores communication with the occupied territories. While operators repair or install optical networks damaged by the invaders, Ukrainians can immediately call their relatives. There is no need to wait and waste time for approvals and permits,” Fedorov said.

He gave the example of the village of Radinka in the Kyiv region, which was damaged by the actions of the Russian army.

“The invaders acted there according to a typical scenario – they killed, robbed, destroyed everything that got in their way. Especially cell phone towers. Now Starlink works on Radinka, which provides communication to the entire settlement.”

As reported by Ukrinform, Yurii Shchygol, head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, reported that the Internet from Starlink will appear on trains by the end of 2022.
