Apple will launch several mixed reality headsets over the next three years. An authoritative insider, Ming-Chi Ko, described it on his blog on Medium.

According to the expert, the American company has planned the release of several mixed reality headsets. Ko envisions a device that will work in virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) under the mixed reality helmet concept. The expert noted that in 2025, Apple will release the second generation of the headset – the device will be budget-friendly.

In addition to an inexpensive alternate reality helmet, the IT company will introduce a second-generation professional VR/AR helmet. The company has yet to explore this market – Apple will introduce its first mixed reality headset in early 2023, according to an early report by Ming-Chi Ko.

According to the expert’s forecast, the supply of such devices from Apple will reach 10 million in 2025 or 2026. The author believes that this will be possible thanks to the integration of the new device into the ecosystem.
