As reported by Ukrinform, Xinhua reported it.
The Tianlian II-03 satellite was launched by a Long March-3B launch vehicle at half past one Beijing time.
Tianlian II-03 is said to be China’s second-generation data transmission satellite in geosynchronous orbit.
It will provide data transfer and TT&C (telemetry, tracking and command) services for manned spacecraft and satellites in low and medium orbits. It will also support TT&C for launching the spacecraft.
It was the 426th flight of the Long March launch vehicle series.
As Ukrinform reports, on July 11, Elon Musk’s SpaceX space company successfully launched a rocket carrier with 46 Starlink mobile internet satellites.
