A few months ago WABetaInfo reported that the company is developing a new functionality This allows the app to be opened on two devices at the same time with the same phone number. This option will arrive soon with a beta update for iOS and Android.

It was soon learned that this new feature will allow the use of the same WhatsApp account. on multiple devices at the same time. The feature is called Companion Mode.
