Just in time to take advantage of them at Easter, Epic Games is bringing us two new games for free this week which will certainly not go unnoticedwith procedural dungeons and the curious Rogue Legacy hereditary system and the captivating and immersive story thriller The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.

Following the same procedure as the previous games, both titles will be available and exchangeable through the Epic Games Storeso we only need to log in with our Epic account and access the files of each of the titles (Rogue Legacy and The Vanishing of Ethan Carter) and complete the entire purchase process.

Although we can add them directly from the desktop applicationwhere it appears in a small pop-up window at the top of the home page and also on a prominent line in the store section, from which we can easily access the pages of these free games without having to use a web browser.

Lastly, keep in mind that, like other free games offered at the Epic Games Store, they can only be redeemed for one week, which is a new term. next Thursday 14 April to 16:59 (peninsula time).

Rogue Legacy

Undoubtedly one of my favorite games from Epic and a game that I have spent many hours on. In this genealogical roguelite, where everyone can become a hero, every time we die, one of our descendants will follow. However, not every hero is perfect: a person can be color-blind, short-sighted, have stomach problems, or even be a dwarf with dizziness. But nothing happens because we don’t have to be a charming prince to defeat hordes of evil.

Fortunately, and to try to help us with the challenging difficulty of the game, every time we die, we can use all the gold we get with each character to improve your mansion, which will give your other descendants some improvements, such as improvements in life, magic and even new specialized classes with unique abilities.

The disappearance of Ethan Carter

A mysterious first-person game focused on exploration and discovery. Play as Paul Prospero, an occult detective who receives a disturbing letter from Ethan Carter. Realizing that the boy is in danger, Paul heads to Ethan’s house in Red Creek Valley, where the situation is much worse than he had imagined. Ethan is missing after the brutal murder, and Paul quickly discovers that this may not be the only murder in the area that is worth investigating.
