Microsoft has released a new Windows Server Insider Preview build. This month’s build 25158 is now available to download as an ISO from the Windows Server Insider site along with a VHDX, but despite using the same core core as the Windows 11 Sun Valley 3 (23H2) development, there are no log changes as usual, so it’s clear what’s new in this build and what’s broken. not.
Server branding has not been updated yet and remained Windows Server 2022 in the previous version. Additionally, Microsoft is asking insiders to refer to these builds as vNext rather than the currently commercially available Windows Server 2022.
The Sun Valley 3 consumer build, Windows 11 build 25158, was also released on the Windows Insider Dev Channel today, which means these builds will continue to sync. This build does not contain release highlights or known issues.
