The US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announced that asteroid 2022 KY4 will pass near Earth on Sunday, July 17.

The diameter of the space stone is about 88 meters, according to NASA. This Sunday, it will get as close to Earth as possible at a distance of 6.1 million kilometers.
The British DailyStar newspaper states that the space rock is currently moving at a speed of 7.5 km per hour.
This isn’t the first time the asteroid 2022 KY4 has approached Earth in 1959. After July 17, its next approach to our planet is expected already in 2048.
Normally, 2022 KY4 interacts with another planet before starting its journey towards Earth.
