As Ukrinform reports, Space.com writes about it
“The mission, which will be called VOICE, will go to the hottest and brightest planet in the Solar System in 2026 and will orbit in 2027,” the material says.
It was stated that the spacecraft will be 350 km from the surface of Venus, studying the geological evolution, thermal and chemical processes in the atmosphere and the possible existence of any life form.
The publication emphasizes that the mission has yet to be finalized by the Chinese authorities and is currently being evaluated among many other projects in terms of budget, technology readiness and launch schedule.
We should add that NASA and the European Space Agency are currently working on their own missions to Venus. In addition, the American company RocketLab plans to launch a special mission to Venus next year.
