SpaceX’s Cargo Dragon spacecraft successfully launched to the International Space Station on Friday, July 15.

This is stated in the company’s press release, Ukrinform reports.

As noted, the launch was performed at 03:44 on July 15 using a Falcon 9 launch vehicle from the Florida spaceport as part of the 25th Commercial Supply Services (CRS-25) mission.

The company expects docking to take place tomorrow, July 16, at 18:20 Kyiv time.

According to Space.com, Dragon CRS-25 carries 2,630 kg of cargo for scientific research.

Initially, the launch of the mission was scheduled for June 10, but engineers noted an increased level of hydrazine vapor. Therefore, NASA and SpaceX postponed the planned launch to June 28. The launch date was later pushed back to July 11 and then July 15 to allow time for some hardware replacement and further inspection.

As Ukrinform reports, on July 11, space company SpaceX successfully launched a rocket carrier with 46 Starlink mobile internet satellites.
