In the past, we’ve seen how AnchorThe technology company, best known for its charging products, has sought to expand its business by moving to other markets, such as wireless headphones, but today we are surprised by the AnkerMake M5, its first 3D printing deviceand a commitment to abandon the tedious and slow processes of these printers.

A feature that we notice from our own assembly, stating that the company claims its 3D printer can be assembled in just three steps and in just 15 minutesthanks to its pre-assembled modular design, which only needs a few screws to assemble.

Although the true essence of the AnkerMake M5 is its print speed. And that’s because while its base speed is around 250mm / s, designed for use in more detailed projects that require a smooth surface, this printer includes a new fast mode that allows you to print at speeds of up to 2,500 mm / s. The way he offers us somewhat coarser and less detailed final resultsis postulated as a really interesting alternative for printing prototypes or varieties that do not require too much detail and offers them in return reduction of average printing time by up to 70%.

In addition, this 3D printer has other advantages such as its artificial intelligence camera system, which manages the print project and allows users remote access to it for live streaming via the accompanying smartphone app. More importantly, it automatically stops the printing process if it detects that something has gone wrong on the digital plane, and also sends an application notification. In particular, this feature saves a lot of expensive raw materials from waste.

However, it remains to be seen whether the company will finally be able to fulfill all these promises. And that’s it Currently, the AnkerMake M5 is only a Kickstarter project, so the start of production and shipping may take some time. Although it should be noted that currently the project has not only met its funding target, but has already raised more than € 3 million, compared to less than € 50,000 they were looking for.

So we can currently support this project to get one of the AnkerMake M5 3D printers exclusive price at an early age of only $ 429 (approximately 395 euros), the company already expected a price increase for later sales of $ 499 (about 460 euros).
