Instagram has announced new features for its paid subscription service, including access to exclusive broadcast posts for subscribers and chats with creators.
The company announced at the end of last January that it was testing a paid subscription service, a method that provides access to exclusive live images or videos from certain creators on the social network.
Specifically, Instagram Subscriptions offer three different access options. The first is Subscriber Lives, which are live videos that subscribers can access, different from other content, and surrounded by a purple circle.
On the other hand, there are Subscriber Stories, which are special stories where subscribers can interact with creators using stickers or stickers.
Finally, Subscriber Badges are available as an option that allows creators to identify their subscribers, again via a purple icon, when they comment on broadcast posts.
After expanding access to Instagram Subscriptions to more members of its community in the United States and collecting feedback from users who have tried it, the company has announced new features for creators’ followers.

Meta offers tools to create and edit Instagram and Facebook Reels
The first of these features is access to special feed posts and reels. While it was true that at first subscribers could see Stories that the rest of the social network users don’t have access to, now they will be able to enjoy content created just for them on each creator’s profile.
Meta, on the other hand, introduced a new form of communication in this payment option for creators who can engage with the platform’s subscribers community in a different way.
It is now possible to create chats for up to 30 subscribers using Messenger technology, either from the inbox of this application or from a Story where the Join button is integrated into the chat.
Those who decide to use the Messenger message box will find a new subscriptions tab that allows them to organize and manage their profile’s chats with their followers.
On the other hand, the company announced that it has launched a tab for the profiles of Subscription creators, where subscribers can find all the exclusive content they have posted so far.
Finally, Meta noted that it has recently created a Subscribe Stories and Reels hashtag, or hashtag, for creators to encourage their followers to subscribe to their channel.
He also recalled that he announced a few days ago that he will not charge any fees until 2024 for access to Subscriptions, paid events or badges.
