“Today, another 40 Starlink satellite communication systems were delivered to the Lviv OVA by the Lviv IT Cluster. Kozytskyi said these systems to the “Zachid” Air Defense Force, 80 separate amphibious assault brigades, “Right Sector” and the Armed Forces of Ukraine to perform military missions. We will direct it to other organizations that need high-speed internet.”

He emphasized that this is an important aid both for the “Zahid” Air Defense Forces, which are fighting in the air against the important infrastructure facilities of the Lviv Oblast and against enemy attacks against other regions in the west of the country, as well as for the defenders at the front. .

It is noted that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Regional State Administration together with the Lviv IT Cluster delivered more than 400 such systems.

“Satellite communication systems star connection – this is only a part of the assistance provided by Lviv IT Cluster within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation we signed. We also implement the “Vision” security project, where law enforcement quickly solves crimes, detects and neutralizes DRGs, and the “Sky” project helps PvC “Zahid” respond faster to objects in the sky,” Kozytskyi added.

As reported by Ukrinform, Yurii Shchygol, head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine, reported that the Internet from Starlink will appear on trains by the end of 2022.
