Starting Monday, Snapchat will have a web version that subscription service users from a small number of countries will have access to first, and they’ll find the same messaging functionality as on the mobile app, along with a new privacy screen.

The app has announced that Snapchat social network, already available in the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, is coming to the web, with the aim of expanding it to the global community.

The Snapchat website is part of the social network subscription that the company announced at the end of June, which offers new features, privileges in testing and even before its official launch.

Access to Snapchat Web is a site where subscribers can find their chats right where they left off in the mobile app, via web.snapchat.com, where they can log in with their Snapchat username and password.

The web version of the app includes all the messaging features of the mobile app such as chat reactions/replies and lenses. The company confirmed in a statement that it will also introduce lenses for video calls and the ability to send Snaps directly from the computer.

The web version includes a new privacy screen that hides the application window when clicked to perform another task.
