The trial in the “Twitter v. Musk” case has been adjourned until October.

Delaware Chancery Court (USA), Twitter Inc. decided in his favour. SapceX and Tesla CEO Elon Musk for an expedited trial to force him to buy the company for $44 billion.

This was reported by Ukrinform with reference to CNBC.

It was noted that the hearing will last for five days in October.

In court, the company’s lawyer, Bill Savitt, argued that Twitter Inc.’s request was denied. With regard to the hearing in September, it fully corresponds to the requirements for the consideration of similar cases. He believes an expedited review is essential to stop the continued damage the company has suffered due to the uncertainty of closing the deal and Elon Musk’s disdain.

Musk’s lawyer, Andrew Rossman, insisted that the accelerated program was definitely not a good fit for his team, because Max wants to control the number of spam accounts on Twitter and he needs more time to do so.

In addition, Rossman accused the company of continuing to keep the number private and not providing the information Musk had previously requested from the company.

As reported by Ukrinform, Twitter Inc. On Tuesday, July 12, billionaire filed a lawsuit against Elon Musk to force him to complete the previously signed deal to buy the social network for $44 billion. The court must decide whether Musk has sufficient arguments that the social network violated the terms of the agreement so he can reject it.
