It was noted that the hearing will last for five days in October.
In court, the company’s lawyer, Bill Savitt, argued that Twitter Inc.’s request was denied. With regard to the hearing in September, it fully corresponds to the requirements for the consideration of similar cases. He believes an expedited review is essential to stop the continued damage the company has suffered due to the uncertainty of closing the deal and Elon Musk’s disdain.
Musk’s lawyer, Andrew Rossman, insisted that the accelerated program was definitely not a good fit for his team, because Max wants to control the number of spam accounts on Twitter and he needs more time to do so.
In addition, Rossman accused the company of continuing to keep the number private and not providing the information Musk had previously requested from the company.
