In April, cryptocurrency platform Binance will issue a charity crypto card for all Ukrainians who have had to leave Ukraine and need help.
According to Ukrinform, this was announced in a Telegram by the Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.
“During this month, Binance will also launch a charity crypto card for all Ukrainians who have had to leave Ukraine and need help. This is an important support for our citizens during the war,” the deputy prime minister said.
He noted that the Binance team continues to work with the Ministry to integrate the Action app to implement the cryptocurrency and identify Ukrainian users of the cryptocurrency exchange.
In addition, Binance will support education projects of the Ministry of Education and Science, including cryptocurrency, to help more Ukrainians acquire digital skills and acquire new digital professions.
Fedorov said that Binance has already provided $10 million in support to Ukraine and plans to increase this amount to $20 million in the near future.
According to him, Binance founder Changpen Zhao confirmed that the platform strictly adheres to the requirements of the sanctions policy against Russian officials and banks on the sanctions list related to military aggression in Ukraine, and will respond 24/7 to specific cases of violations of the sanctions regime. it may be broken.
