Xiaomi founder Lei Jun conducted a survey among Weibo users, inviting them to name the company’s smartphone model they liked the most. Despite the significant track record of the brand, the gadget presented back in 2017 turned out to be the leader of the “popular” vote.

The community favorite by a wide margin was Xiaomi Mi6, which received 21,000 votes, which is almost half of all respondents. The device at one time became the company’s first flagship with a dual rear camera and the latest branded smartphone with a 16:9 display and wide frames.

The basic version of the model with a 5.15-inch matrix was produced in a thin and light body, an alternative version was equipped with a ceramic back cover.

Xiaomi Mi6 also entered the list of three favorite models of the founder of the company along with Mi Mix 2 and Mi 10 Pro. This smartphone, as of 2021, is still used by more than 2 million people. Due to its popularity in 2020, the company even considered re-launching this model with a frameless design, but later abandoned this idea.
