Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25163 appeared on the early access channel where improvements to the taskbar were tested. Now when opening multiple apps the panel goes into overflow mode showing a small panel at the top.
It is not yet known how many programs need to be disabled to start this mode. It’s just about “enough” programs. At the same time, the interface of the extended taskbar supports the same features found in the main task. These are context menus, double-click actions, and more. If the number of programs decreases, the advanced mode is automatically turned off.
It is not yet known how many apps need to be opened for it to open. It probably depends on the screen resolution, aspect ratio, scale of the interface and other parameters.
This collection also got the OneDrive branded service in the “Share” menu for quick upload of data to the cloud. Other changes include minor improvements to the Microsoft Store interface. Now it’s more convenient to compare prices for different versions of the same game out there. And UDP protocol support on private networks has also been added.
It is not yet known when these innovations will appear in the release version of the operating system.
