Today, there are more than 13,000 Starlink terminals in Ukraine that provide uninterrupted communication of critical infrastructure facilities.
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov said this during the second Ladies and Gentlemen’s Summit, according to Ukrinform.
“We are trying to provide uninterrupted internet to everyone. There are currently more than 13,000 Starlink terminals in Ukraine. First of all, they are received by the medical and educational fields that are needed. We are sure that we will have the internet despite everything that happens. We hope that we will always be in touch,” he said. .
Starlink is a project of the SpaceX company, which provides access to broadband Internet using a satellite network. The speed of this type of Internet is up to 1 Gbit/s per subscriber and you can use it anywhere in the world.
As Ukrinform reported, the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine had previously reported that Starlink internet will appear on trains by the end of 2022.
