New feature added this week Google Photos, a Google Gallery app that aims to make it easier for users to access screenshots. The shortcut is intended for Android device owners to have quick access to screenshots taken with the device to increase flexibility in the process.

According to the portal 9to5Google, users will soon be able to quickly access their screenshots by holding the app icon on their Android phone. When performing an action in addition to the options already available “Free space” as well as “I am lucky” will be added “View Screenshots”which will eliminate the need to open the application and look for a folder of pictures inside.

The novelty is simple, but it can optimize the user experience and flexibility in accessing these files. This feature will be widely available from update 5.97 applications in android.

Application update

The new change accompanies a number of other updates that Google implemented in the first half of this year, especially in March. On this occasion, the company introduced a number of improvements to its gallery app, including changes to the library and sharing organization.

Another innovation that was implemented also concerned user screenshots. OUR Google presented a website dedicated to screenshots at the top of the app’s main photo grid, an option designed to quickly access this file type.
