ESA reports this, Ukrinform reports.
In the picture, it is noted that next to LEDA 58109, two more objects were recorded – the active galactic core (AGN) SDSS J162558.14+435746.4 partially occupies the galaxy SDSS J162557.25+435743.5.
As noted, the classification of galaxies is sometimes presented as a spiral and elliptical division. However, the diversity in this image highlights the complex network of classifications available, including galaxies with extremely bright AGNs at their centers and galaxies whose shapes cannot be classified as spiral or elliptical.
However, the diversity of galaxy names (some relatively short like LEDA 58109 and some very long and complex like the other two in this picture) is due to the diversity of cataloging systems that represent celestial objects in the night sky. A single catalog is not exhaustive and covers overlapping regions of the sky, so many galaxies belong to several different catalogs.
As reported by Ukrinform, the NASA/ESA Hubble space telescope captured a photograph of the gravitational lens galaxy SGAS J143845+145407 in space.
