“The Government Computer Emergency Response Team of Ukraine CERT-UA, operating under the State Special Communications Service, reports the facts about the bulk of emails with the subject “Final Payment” and the attachment of the same name in the form of a TGZ archive” message reader.
The department stressed that opening the archive will lead to the downloading of malicious programs to the computer and, as a result, data theft.
The attack is linked to the UAC-0041 group (Russian hacktivists).
