OUR MediaTech is one of the major manufacturers of smartphone chipsets and aims to expand its business scope in partnership with Intel. The companies announced today (25) a strategic partnership where Intel Foundry Services (IFS) will produce a wide range of chips for “a range of high-end smart devices”.
The manufacturer also considered the possibility of increasing the amount of RAM on the devices.
Even though it is a consolidated brand in the mobile scenario, manufacturers such as One Plus, Samsung and some others, these chips that will be produced will not be used in cell phones. The American company stated in an official note that this agreement is aimed at suggest “a more balanced and sustainable supply chain“to your new partner.
With the support of Intela MediaTech intends to produce chips that will be used in smart products that do not require such high performance. For this IFS has the technology of making models with high performance, always connected and low battery consumption.
