Overview of the unmanned aerial reconnaissance complex FlyEye

FlyEye is an unmanned aircraft complex developed by Flytronic engineers, a subsidiary of WB Electronics, part of the WB Group. It was presented for the first time at the Eurosatory exhibition in Paris on 14 June 2010. As early as the end of 2010, WB Electronics won a tender to supply this complex to one of Poland’s special-purpose units.

The Polish army used the FlyEye UAV in Afghanistan. Their use in the war in Ukraine since 2015 is also known.

Features of FlyEye 3.0 drone:

  • Speed ​​- 60-120 km/h,
  • The radius of use is up to 50 km with radio communication and up to 300 km with a portable control post.
  • Practical ceiling – 3500 m,
  • Take-off weight – 12 kg,
  • Wingspan – 3.6 m,
  • Length – 1.8m,
  • It can stay in the air for 2.5 hours.
